How long will a 5 gal air tight container of Fresh SW from the LFS last in the Garage. No sunlight and very ltlle other light, just open and close garage door twice a day.

In a climate controlled environment...indefinitely. Once it's been opened, in a garage I would think you can expect the bucket to sweat and moisture to be introduced.

I just went to Jeff's Exotic Fish (local) and ran into a fellow reefer that said he buys a three weeks supply at one and has been doing so for years. He just keeps it in tha garage as well. Also just found out that the Catalina water @ Jeff's is only $0.35 per gal, I was paying $0.75. What a bargain.
