Saltwater tank_55 gal

Hi, new to the forum, however I do have a tank with a variety of fish. Recently added a slippery dick wrasse. I have not seen him in 3 days wondering it that normal for this type of fish?

When stressed wrasses do jump and I am not for sure about this particular wrasse but some bury themselves when they are stressed or they sleep. This particular wrasse gets between 9 and14 inches.

Welcome to AA!

I have moved your thread to SW Reef Aquaria to help you get more responses. I hope your wrasse shows up soon.

Welcome to AA!!

I'd say it was normal behaviour for a wrasse. Likely under a rock or in a hole somewhere. I've bought wrasses that I didn't see for over a week.
