Sand goes in your sandbag in preparation for our next hurricane lol. Seriously, there is probably salts within the sand that will destroy your soilbed. Have any potholes that need to be filled? :p

here is a few other ideas on how to sterilize the sand i just found......

Can i put sand from the beach in my saltwater aquarium if i wash it off. or do i have to buy a special kind? - Yahoo! Answers
