Is a 30 gal ok to have a brittle star in??? I also have some snails and hermits...well they all get along hunky dorie?? Does it need a DSB? Mine currently is only around 2.5 inches....and i used the bagged stuff that i hear is crap.....so how do i know if my LS is really live???!

Pod larvae will pass through the UV killing the larvae. Dead larvae does not grow up to be adult pods.
