After a week of debating I choose my return pump!! The reeflo dart/snapper! Hoping finances work out to purchase it next week.

Nice job!!

not having the necessary money is probably the worst part of a build/upgrade phase. I had to choose between lights/skimmer/ controller... it sucks. (im actually calling tm to possibly pick up a second job just for fish money. )

Ya that's where I'm stuck! It started months got my husbands tranny went so we fixed that, then the distributor went. Then we had vacation planned (a cruise so a lot of money went there!). But now the focus is the tank! I only really have two big investments, and that's my return pump and lights. Then all that's left are the fun add ons like ATO, GFO, and I can add those after I get it up and running. Luckily I'm at the peak season at work so there's overtime right now! There's no real big hurry other than I want it done! So it will get done as money allows, I want to do it right the first time so I'd rather take my time!

It's not easy or cheap, but once you get past all the rough spots, it's worth it.

I've seen you talking on other threads wondering if you could give me your thoughts on these? Good for my setup or can I get away with 2 of them?

A bit too expensive for my taste. The ability to tune the colors is nice and they will have enough intensity to grow most corals in a 2'x2' footprint. So two would be better. Depending on the tanks length, you might need three of them. Look at the RapidLED fixture and the Taotronics fixtures before making a final decision. Both are good coral growers for less money. I am sure there are many more out there, but you're on the right track.

From what I've seen these prices are comparable to the taotronics I've seen.
