I currently have a 45 gallon reef tank I came across this tang at my lfs at a great price he is still small. Would he be alright in my tank for 2 maybe 3 months tops until I can get my 150 gallon up and running? Currently I have 2 Ocellarus Clown, 2 blue/green Chromis, a Condy Nem, and a small CUC.

If it is a small ( 1/2 dollar to silver dollar body size or smaller) then I would say , Yes for the couple of months. Ideally, they should be in a bigger tank to grow healthily so I would not wait to upgrade if at all possible.

Hope this helps (y)
