Sea hare

Hey all I got a sea hare to help take care of some unwanted hair algae well the hare did great and cleaned the tank but, what will it eat now that the algae is gone? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I wish I would have an answer but every time I buy one they seem to disappear.

Yah it's hard to see them sometimes because they blend in so well with my LR but, it seems to be doing fine had it a week and come's out every night to graze.

That's good... I wish I had mine still, one day there in my tank and the next day they're gone completely

That's what I don't know, I'm sure it probably just escaped.

You should not depend on livestock to get rid of algae. Find the fuel source and cut it off. The sea hare is very difficult to keep and expels a dye when it feels attacked. They can nuke a tank. Read
