Hi Fellow reefers,

I have a couple of Seahorses. Every now and then I see a cloudy discharge from the top of their head, 1-3 shots. I was curious as to what this is. I think it may be how they poop, but am not sure, so would like some input

I've never had sea horses but could they be breeding?

Good possibility. They have been doing this for 2-3 months, and I am not sure how long it takes for the babies to come out. I know the male expels 1200-2000 young'uns from his pouch. And they are about 1 year old which I think is the age when they should produce babies. Operation Seahorse Baby Watch is underway
