Serpent star

I've seen people post about problems with green serpents. Are these problems associate with just green serpents or also green banded? LFS has a pair of small banded serpents that look to be green/white under their lighting.

I have 2 banded serpents stars and neither is a problem. One is almost a foot across now.
Actually I believe its the green brittle star that is the problem.
