Can i use water from my show tank that i take out for water changes?? Thanks

That is actually the prefered method, especially if setting up a QT in a rush. It allows a better match for salinity, ph and temp so animals can be transfered without the added stress of acclimation. Just be sure not to use the main tanks water for water changes in the QT. Always use newly mixed saltwater that s been properly aerated with mathcing ph and temp.

If the QT runs for any length of time, you would lose that advantage and must acclimate fish accordingly.

Cheers

As long as you are maintaining good water quality in the show tank, I don't see any reason why not. You might want to mix in a little new water with it just to dilute any undesirable substances. IMO, this would ease the transition from the quarantine tank to the show tank since the fish/invert would already be used to the water parameters. JMHO.
