Banded and bamboo cat sharks can often be very delicate as youngsters but usually are great eaters and seem to adapt well to aquariums. The only problem with keeping these sharks is their potentially very large size. They can quickly outgrow even the largest aquariums and demand a lot of swimming space. Once large, they are messy creatures, producing a lot of waste and therefore, demand superior filtration.
