shoot! whats gonna happen?

i have a 48" CF 220watt fixture....my wife was online and purchased some new bulbs for my fixture...problem is she bought 65 watters and not 55 watters....can someone tell me what will happen? will it burn out my ballast?

I run 65w in my 55w, not sure if it will hurt long run, but short term i have had no prob. It's been about 8 months now.

Ballast drives the bulb. If your ballast is load-sensing and can push 65watts, it will.
Otherwise there's no real difference between 55 and 65 watt bulbs...so they'll simply run at 55watts if that's all your ballast can do.
