I watched a video of a copperband butterfly eating aptasia (which is over running my tank). I was thinking about putting an adapter on my shop vac, putting it on the aptasia, and letting my husband hit the switch for a couple seconds and suck it up. I have an adapter that's used to blow up air mattresses and such. Has anyone ever heard of this or tried it? Do you think it would work?

I bought 4 peppermint shrimp and they did a wonderful job of getting rid of aptasia. I had some really big aptasia, about the size of a quarter, that I thought were going to be there forever but they are gone.

A freakin laser

Yeah I saw that the other day. I've tried peppermint shrimp but I can't find any that are a decent size and I have a long nosed hawk...

I still think I might try the shop vac just to see. If that copperband can pull those little jokers off and eat them...if it works, I'll let you know.
