Should i be worried?

So last night I found a blue banded hermit crab inside the "head" of one if my sacrophyton. I removed it and it went back, then again, then again, and then I realized that there were little brown specs on the sacrophyton. Now I may be wrong however I think that this hermit has laid eggs on my coral. Should I be worried for my coral. This tank is a reef tank not a hermit crab sanctuary (I'd like to keep all my critters but the corals will have priority)

I'd do a coral dip.

Don't know what happened but in the morning the eggs weren't there. Sometimes it just works itself out
