I just went through a minicycle which stressed my new Yellow Tang (2 weeks old) Now he has little white spots which I think are ich. He has been eating fine. I feed him dried seaweed. This is the only fish in the tank. But I do have Coral and a startfish.

Will it stress him more if I QT him and if I do what size tank do you recomend.

Thanks

30 gallon tank should be the minimal size for a Saltwater QT.

I agree with you fishboy that would probably be best, but if you cant get one that big, get one as big as you can. I have a 20g with a Moorish Idol. Perc Clown, Tomato Clown, and Damsel in it. Today is the 4th week of QT for ich, and there ichless and fine. I wouldnt suggest it though, its ALOT of work.
