Shrimp eating Birdnest

I was just curious if anyone has had the problem with their cleaner shrimp eating the polyps on a birdnest coral. Mine is tapping the polyps which causes them to retract and then he is getting a late night snack.

Are you sure it is eating polyps and isn't doing what you put them in your tank to do, clean up dead/decaying matter?

I agree, I doubt it's eating the polyps. Mine will climb on corals and cause their polyps to retract

My peppermints do it as well sometimes. They might just be hungry because I mostly feed pellet food and cyclopeeze twice or so a week. What are your feedings like?
