I have an odd question.

One of my two shrimp has this green belly. Do you think its got babies in it? They are both acting normal, but the belly on one is just green.

If its not babies, what do you think is going on?

The green is eggs. The eggs will hatch and become a snack for you tank inhabitants. I have a green belly cleaner shrimp also and have been told, as well as read online that they are impossible to breed. The scientific community haven't been successful with them either. The babies do fine for the first couple moults then die.

Keep watching the tank right after lights out and thats when the magic happens.. Do you have moon lights? It is cool to watch with the moon lights.. thousands of little critters swimming all over..

Mine just had babies. They had them while the lights were on. They are in a tank to themselves and the parents munched away on some. Good luck with yours. :)
