Anyone have my problem? On a random day about once a month my *** tank overflows and floods the room! Thanks to my skimmer! Grrr!!!

I am ready to sell and be done!
Frustrated!!

It's a ASM G4.
It will go strong for weeks and then bam you wake up to a river!

How's it connected (insump or external)? Is it connected to an external collection cup? Where is it overflowing from? You said it'll go a couple weeks, are you doing routine maintenance like cleaning venturi of calcium or salt deposits, making sure intake isn't blocked, or wiping neck clean?

Yea it's in sump. I have external collection into a gallon milk jug. I clean the collection cup every couple weeks. I think something is spawning in my tank and made it react and start producing more bubbles which overflowed it.

Last time spiney, my urchin was shooting his man juice everywhere and it did the same thing!
