Silica sand in your salt tank?

we were discussing silica sand as opposed to aragonite based sand in our aquariums in someone's thread. I can't remember which, but i felt i should post this article for all.

Very in depth article, thanks. I was worried about silica due to the fact I used pool filter sand. I have a test kit which measured at 0. Not sure if thats a good thing or not now.

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.
