Silly Question

I just added a sump to my 125, never had a sump before, here's the question, how do you clean the socks? Do you use detergent? I was told to bleach them, is that right? Help!!

I run the washer empty to clear any soap then run the socks without soap or bleach. Good luck!

A lot of people say use bleach... I personally don't... I feel that bleach in a tank is not a good thing lol. As above mentioned.... I just pop it in the washer with no detergent/bleach with hot water and that's it.

I';ve been using bleach in the super hot cycle on my washer and then wash it through with no bleach again. Never had any issues.

Bleach breaks down very quickly when it's exposed to the environment. If you are still paranoid about it just hang it outside for a few hours on a stick as sun will break it down in a matter of minutes.
