silly question

now this might be dumb but copepods are shrimp larvae, correct? well do they ever turn into shrimp? and what kind? becuase i have some **** big copepods...

Copepods are their own critter, they do not turn into shrimp. The big ones could be amphipods, which are larger than copepods and more shrimp like in looks.
