Silver thing growing on my LR...help please!

I have this silver thing, growing on my LR.. I don't know if is it normal, If I have to do anything about...could you guys help me out!!!!

It's look like a green hair alge, but now it's turning silver color

Is this thing mobile? Is it rigid or soft? It's hard to tell really but perhaps more info may help.

It's soft, doesn't move, look like dust, it;s all over the live rock

Ok, now I understand. That is probably just dieoff. You could try to use a turkey baster or something to blow off the rock, that should remove some. Or give your snails some time to clean it up. I wouldn't say it's anything to worry about though.

I agree with Fluff, just normal die-off of either plant matter, sponge, or detritus.
