Phosphate test is the most difficult test to read. Or mine just magically stay at zero
 
The API test kit for phosphate is not recommended if you have corals. You need to get a test kit that can read between 0.00 ppm and 1.00 ppm such as Salifert, Red Sea or Hanna.
 
It's not API it like fin something. It test 0 to 5? I believe. I'll find out for sure
 
It's the nutrafin test. I don't remember the exact range and I'm out of town currently
