So i go to rinse my mouth out this morning(just got Wisdom Teeth pulled), and notice an inch of water missing from the tank. The Remora Pro had filled up the Gallon catch container and kept going all over the floor. I had never adjusted the cup as it had been collecting nothing. Is it working now, or screwed up.

It's pretty normal for skimmers to be erratic in a new tank. You could just switch it off until you get some livestock since it's not needed at present.

It will go crazy at first, but as it runs it will work all that out. A lot of the trace manufacturing oils and stuff will cause them to freak out from time to time, shouls be over within the first week or two.

Well, its going to be moved into the sump, and the overflow will be hanging in its place, so i guess ill just remove it for now. Thanks guys.
