skimmer or refugium for 29 gallon biocube?

I have a skimmer to go into chamber 2 in my biocube but I was wondering should I keep it in or should I make a refugium with chaeto to help get rid of annoying green algae on my glass ? I am planning on using some leds for light for the refugium if I decide to go that route.. any advice? Thank you!

I passed on the skimmer in my cube, I just do weekly water changes. I di have the fuge and media baskets installed in the back center compartment, works like a charm for me.

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

Not sure about that, most of the water flows quite qucikly through the baskets and fuge basket so you might lose most of the brine.

This is what i added to my cube....

ALso remember you'll need alight if you paln on growing macro algae int he fuge part. That website has some cheap options for lighting it too. And one expensive option. lol
