Skimmer replacement!..Does it work?

I was reading about the eco-aqualizer ionization filter, and they say how much better it works, and how much cheaper it is.

Has anyone used one?.....any thoughts?

Magnets can’t remove DOC like a skimmer can. IMO they are a waste of money. www.wetwebmedia.com goes into more detail.

In particular look at this link to see what it’s made of I'm guessing it costs about $5 to make one of these.
