Slugs?

Hello,, I have tons of these slug like creatures in my tank. I don't think they are a problem but how many is OK? It seems like there is at least what we can see at night 30+ of these. I assume they just eat algae and such which I have almost none of LOL. Here is a pic of one side of the tank at night.

I couldn't get a good pic sorry,, they don't have shells, and some are about 3/4" long. Their backs are kinda white and grey colored. My aquarium is only 30 gallon so I didn't know if I should worry about them.

I got one of those, my guess is that it came in with the lr, i know that doesn't answer your question, but at least your not the only one with these perculia things.
 
Looks like stromatella snails to me. They have a half shell that looks fleshy. They are nice algae grazers and nothing you need to worry about.
