Snail pellets

Ok....this is silly but would do you do with the snail "pellets"? Siphon them off, blow them off or just leave them? I only have 6 Turbo's and 5 Astrea's at the moment (need more, the algae is winning). And the algae I'm getting is yellow to brown on rocks and sand and some "burnt" spots on the glass extending up from the sand.

The pods, worms and other fauna in the tank (if seeded with LR) will help remove them. No need to worry about it.

Cheers

Thanks Steve....the pellets are REALLY starting to pile up. My tank is new so I don't know if there is a pod population yet.

I still wouldn't worry about it. If you see even one worm or pod, chances are there are a good number that can deal with the snail detritus.

Cheers
Steve
