Snail With no Shell

Alrighty!!!! Yes...I have a Nassarius snail that is quite large (quarter-sized), who has been going along his merry way today but in the nude!!! AHH!!! SCARY!!! He's very happy. Has he lost his mind??? Will he go back into his shell...What's wrong with him???

No snails cant go back into their shell once out. Just dont let him get eaten if hes doing fine. His mantle will secrete a new shell over time if he survives.
