I have a fowlr tank. When I turn off the lights at night, these small white "snails" start crawling on the inside of the glass. When you look closer, they are all over the live rock also. Are these normal or is there any way of getting rid of them? Anyone have this in their tank? Are they actually snails?

They are most likely pods. Very beneficial and a sign of good things happening in your system.
No worries. :)

I love seeing what stuff crawls out when it's dark... have you considered getting moonlights so you could see the rest of the tank in the dark? Cool to watch if you ask me. :D

I thought they were cool too...but there are ALOT of them. I have an actinic that remains on for about an hour after the main system lights go out. That's when they come out. I will let them be, I guess it's normal and a good sign like quarryshark said...
