Snails snails snails

Reef cleaners explained to me that regardless they are hardy and to just toss them in. Interesting enough.

I don't think snails are hardy. Mine are always croaking. They get stuck upside down overnight and they're gone, they get stuck in a hole in the rock and they're gone.

That sounds like you have these Saltwater Invertebrates for Marine Reef Aquariums: Astraea Conehead Snail I have to turn mine over every once in awhile.

Question on snails. I know hermit crabs need new shells. How about snails? Do they grow and then need larger shells?
