Hi, we have a 55-gallon saltwater tank with a snowflake eel and two sand-sifting starfish. My question is really two-fold.

1. The snowflake eel doesn't seem too impressed with the krill that we bought, but he goes crazy for frozen, cooked cocktail shrimp that we bought for ourselves. Will this give him adequate nutrition? How about crab meat, lobster tail, etc.?

2. We got two starfish to help with algae, but since then I have been reading that that was not a good thing to do. I am very concerned about them starving to death. I have tried putting frozen brine shrimp in the sand bed, but when I stir it up the next day it is still there, so obviously they aren't eating it. I have also tried small pieces of shrimp to no avail. What can I feed them?

I appreciate any help or information; thanks in advance.
