So, I just bought a new light...

It's a T5 HO 30" light. It holds two 24w 22" bulbs. What combination should I go with? I'm thinking 10,000k and 420 acnitic, or 50/50. Unfortunately however, the store I purchased it from neglected to tell me I had T8s in my hand and that they do not sell T5s -_-

Where can I pickup some good, cheap T5 bulbs? Thanks!

eBay all the way, I paid £20 per bulb (having to buy 2 stings)

I saw some on eBay that would have cost me £20 for 3 bulbs, not sure of the quality though.

Aquacave has about the best shipping on bulbs that I could find, and a good price on the bulbs too. You dont want to go cheap with bulbs, you get what you pay for most of the time.

+1 Aquacave for bulbs. I've bought all my stuff there and they pack and ship really well. never had an issue with them. Also cheapest around, unless you are ordering in bulk, then BRS has the ATI's at a buck or two cheaper than the cave does.

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.
