Don't know much about the Vega isn't it wireless or something? I have the SOL BLUE and love it. I have the controller but its not wireless.

I think it will come down to preference and what you wanna spend. Have you looked at the product specs for both?

Aqua illumination makes a great fixture. I just recently bought the vega and I do think there are only some small adjustments to the fixture with the color vega you get red and green LEDs they are wireless communication between eachother and the controller.
