Something smells fishy...

His may seem like an odd question, but today as I was walking past the 54 corner reef in the living room / dining room, I couldn't help but notice the smell.

My tanks normally have a slight ocean scent, but today, it was slap you in the nose smell. Any ideas why my tank might be smelling extra fishy?

Any chance of a loss? I only ever have that smell when I have something die. When I lost my entire CUC in my 55 it became very noticable.

Same here. I had one turbo snail die and the black gunk that was in the shell smelled horrific.

All my big stuff is accounted for - fish, conch, starfish, corals... Maybe a snail died in the back.
