ebster has fishy dreams
somthing weird

I didnt know were to put this so here it is. There is some brown stuff growing on my live rock and on the glass, It just started to come up I can get it off easily and dont know what to do so is there somthing I need to put in some medician.

This is normal for a new tank. How long do you run your lights and how much do you feed?

How often do you feed?

I had this happen at first and just cut back the lenght of time my lights were on, how often and how much I fed, and altered my water changing schedule.

yea if your just setting up your tank normally you'll go through a brown algae (diatom) stage could last a few weeks
