Sparkling Sand

I always see aquariums with perfect looking sand beds, and not that mine is totally gross, but it could use some improvement. Any helpful knowledge?

Do you have any CUC clean up crew (hermit crabs. snails) ?
any sand sifters (nassarius snails, gobys, etc) ?

So many things could contribute to this ..Mine isn't sparkling ,,but its not bad IMO
I actually do not have a single CUC,,but i run an algae scrubber and have triggers who constantly pick up mouthfuls and spit it out..
I have a vid in members tanks and you can see the mound on the left end they made over the years by constantly doing this
