sponge placement

What is the best way of placing a sponge in my tank? Can I glue it into place? Can I wedge it in between rocks or will that hurt it. Will it attach to a rock?

I have them all over my tank. They just attach themselves to the LR.

I have a few in my tank and they dont seem picky at all have some on the substrate and at the top of my tank.There all doing fine and seem to have spread to a new rock

Ball sponge or a branching sponge?

Be gentle when placing it and put it in a shaded area. Branching I would put in the sand somewhere shaded and if a ball I would put it in a crevice on the rock, again shaded.
