SPS coral touching

is there any guideline to which species of SPS will tend to "fight" when touching? or is it a case by case situation? i have a montipora digitata and montipora capricornis that are getting very close. should i just watch and see if one shows any negative signs? i thught i have seen acropora growing right up out of a capricornis

any personal experiences?

I just try to make it where none of my corals touch. Better safe than sorry.

Monti's are one of those corals that don't bother anyone. The two you have mentioned should be fine together.
