I recently was asked to post pics of how my sps
's were reacting to the new 20k radiums with lumenmax reflecors and running galaxy ballasts.
After 4 months I have to report the following:
These acro's are toward the very top and were already in the tank when the new lights were installed. These guys were acclimated from 3hrs a week to the current 6 hrs.
What I determined with these acro's was that since they were 10-15 inches away from the lights they still needed more time to acclimate to the new light source. Possibly 2hrs per day to begin. I still think that they are acclimating. Why? Because of the richer coloring that I am noticing.
My next post will show those sps
's that were further away from the light source during the same acclimating time frame.
