sps water flow

I have a 55 gallon standard tank..... about 100 lbs of live rock and was wonder how much water flow is needed to keep healthy sps corals. currently i have 2 maxi jet 1200's, 1 on each end of the tank.

2 maxijets should be sufficiant. people are saying 4 is good for their 125 gal tanks, so i'd assume two is good for the 55

SPS corals like high flow, indirectly. over 20x tank volume/hr.

Those maxijets output 295GPH. I wouldnt classify two as being fine for even a standard reef tank. If powerheads are going to be your only source of water flow then look for something larger like the Hagen 802 power heads.
