Staghorn and Elkhorn Coral may become protected

I just briefly read a one liner news update about the possibility that staghorn and elkhorn coral will be placed on the endangered species list. If anyone comes across any articles about this, please post a link here. I'd appreciate it.

More and more coral are being restricted and now more are being placed on the endangered species list. If these animals are to remain in existance and to help conservation efforts so we in turn can continue having them in captivity, we need to be more proactive in propagating coral.

There may be restrictions. Usually there are before an actual listing on the endangered species list. There's the chance of threatened species recovering and never making it on the endangered species list. Just goes to show the conditions are worsening for them. Even under any current protection, there's still tons of dead skeletal "decorations" of both stag and elkhorn. That's not protection. Collection will be completely restricted under the endangered species act. Something only those listed on the endangered species list get.
