Star fish / sea star

[Marinebeginner]

I bought a red seastar yesterday for my tank, which is pretty new but fully cycled. He is just hanging about the top of the tank partly on the side and partly on the water surface. Is this just a favourite place for them to feed or does it mean I'm lacking something in my tank ?

yea my blue star fish does the same thing . i wouldnt worrie about it at all
