Star Polyp stopped opening

My star polyp recently stopped opening and its beginning to concern me. I'd like to see if anyone has any experiences like this which may help me figure out why this might be occurring. Any advice is truly appreciated.

A peroxide dip did the trick for mine. They were caked in algae from the last owner
