starfish is on my snail!

yeah ummm i woke up this morning and turned on the aquarium light and all of a sudden my starfish climbed on top of my turbo snail...ive had them for a while and they have gotten along really well...there r these brown pellet looking things on the snail...is that what it is or r they trying to breed?

No, starfish crawl everywhere, if there is something in the way they will crawl over it. They are not harming each other and definitely not trying to breed haha.

Yah that never even crossed my mind! I thought they would only go for dead snails if anything.
