starfish safe corals

I have a chocolate chip star in my tank and want to start adding coral. I have been told not to, the star fish will eat them. anything it wont eat? there are some great local deals on coral right now and i wanna get in on it.

That`s good news. The bad news is you`ll need to get rid of the CC star. I have mine in my refuge. They will devastate most corals.

ok thanks. guess i'll just keep adding live rock then. i like having him in the main tank.

There are many other stars that are reef safe. Your LFS can find a good home for the CC star.
