Steel plumbing

I have a hose clamp to keep my hose connected to my pump and it's made out of steel or stainless steel. I not sure If that would be alright or if there is a plastic replacement and I'm not talking about zip ties I've tried those before and I just get them tight enough

What size is it can't you get any plumbing fittings to join them?!

Plastic clamps are available .Check Foster and Smith in the fish plumbing section.I use them with no problems.You might be able to find them at a LFS. The stainless steel ones are going to rust.

Metal is a big no no when it comes to saltwater. It can cause problems from the start and they don't go away overnight. Look for plastic hose clamps.

I thinnk usplastics also sells plastic hose clamps (might want to opt for a more commercial grade).
