I have a solar wrasse in a QT, I treated him for ich(used clout) and did a water change. The ich is gone, but he is still not ready for the main tank becasue he is being treated with melafix now due to a cut on his side. He recently does not come out of a shell i put out for him and looks stressed and is even loseing some scales and his color. All the parameters of the tank are perfect, I even added cycle because on the package of clout it says it can kill some bacteria. The only thing i can think of is a high copper level(from Clout). Would activated carbon take the copper out?

thanks

Do you have a copper test kit? If not, i recomend getting one, the same brand as the medication you are using. Once you have one of those, test the copper level to see what its at.

Activated carbon should remove the copper from your water. Good luck with your wrasse. I hope it comes around!
