Strontium Test

Does anyone have the "SeaChem" Strontium Test??

Can you explain steps 1, 2, 3 and 4?? Why go to all that trouble??? What is the point??

LOL, if you can print out the directions maybe we can help. I don't use it, but I used to use one a long time ago.

It just seems that steps 1-4 prep some stuff, and then it gets discarded. Only steps 5 and 6 seem to have any part in the final Strontium reading.
