Stuck snail help!!

One of my crabs took over a turbo snail shell now has itself stuck in a rock, it has the shell stuck in a crevice of the rock and cannot get out I tried pulling on and I couldn't get it out either any suggestions????

Can't break the rock that's not a option, so leaving it best thing to do then?

Crab will leave the shell before starving to death. Just make sure a similarly sized shell is available next to it and it should be fine.
